Groundbreaking news: Measure controllable light sources

Measure DALI and DMX

Beta version 7.16 is the first version to support measuring controllable light sources in multiple settings within the same measurement.

Automatic control depends on the newly launched communication module, ‘Viso LightInterface.’ LightInterface enables the Viso Light Inspector software to communicate with the fixture/(LED) driver, smoothly handling DMX/RDM, DALI, and 0-10V protocols.

If you want to measure with wireless control, this is also possible even without LightInterface. Therefore, the new control features benefit all existing clients as well. Read more in this flyer.

New start window

The new start measurement window is more intuitive than ever. The image will represent your particular system size, not just LabSpion. On the right-hand side, you’ll find new buttons for the most popular presets.

Additional settings can be expanded by using the arrows at the bottom.

(Currently available in English only until the next revision).

Single-point measurements

Perhaps you are only interested in measuring the spectral power distribution and peak intensity of your light source, rather than the entire light distribution.

You can now easily make single-point measurements by selecting 0 planes in the new measurement start window.

Additionally, you can allow the system to perform a series of consecutive measurements and average them over a few seconds. The system will also run the automatic stabilization procedure before taking the single-point measurement.

Dark mode – Light Inspector like you’ve never seen it before

We are testing dark mode… You can try it out in Setup -> Options -> Tab: Basic.

Dark mode looks great and works well if you have the screen inside your dark room.

Bear with us if it’s not perfect yet
